Carenado C-172N Forward View

Recommended Posts

When in 2D view in the Carenado C-172N, the view out of the windshield is not right. It's as if I am sitting in a tail dragger and I am looking up at the sky.I can Ctrl-Q and change the view so I can see over the nose but when I change views and go back to the forward view it reverts to the nose up attitude view. The spot view shows the plane sitting level and the VC cockpit view is normal. Carenado tells me that this is the view in real life. Having flown a rw C-172, I know this is incorrect. This is the only plane in my flock that has this view.Does anyone know what I can change in the .cfg file to permanently fix this view? Thanks.Jim

Try adding[VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=15.00, 0.000, 0.000in the panel.cfg file after the Windows definition section. You can change the first (15) value to adjust to your liking.
