April 20, 200917 yr hello folks im needing to know what is the proper procedures to change flightplans in mid flight.for instances im going from kind to ctty and i decide i want to change course and go to another destination say kjfk.why does it have to be an emergency, and then it ask me what flight level to fly at.im sure in the real world if the boss ask you to change plans and go here instead, that you can change a flight plan in mid flight without it being a emergency.or perhaps im doing it wrong.what is the proper precedures to follow.thanks............Robert
