April 20, 200917 yr I bought the MD-11 a couple of months ago and I'm starting to get decent at using it. I'm flying for FEDEX and I'm starting to take her on short runs , from like Toronto to Montreal to Boston etc. Question is, how are you guys figuring out a realistic fuel load for your flights? I have FSBuild and it has a default MD-11 performance file but I have its way way off compared to the PMDG MD-11. ThanksMark Soskin.
April 20, 200917 yr See: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...&hl=fsbuildI got the FSBuild that Saturn_V created by sending him a PM - works really well. April 21, 200917 yr I use a rule of thumb and works fine for me. 17.5 Tonnes x 1000 NMThen add whatever reserve you want to have by the time you shut down the engines again. If you use NAM instead of NM you will get even closer to your target. ----- Jose M Garcia
