There are issues with ASA weather snapshot file current_wx_snapshot.txt and TOPCAT. After refreshing ASA and updating the weather forecast in TOPCAT the winds interpreted by TOPCAT are not what FS9 depicts resulting in TOPCAT's calculations for the opposite end of the runway. Hi,The weahter files are exactly the same.Using ASA are you manually refreshing the AI system with the proper icon? In ASv6.5 this is usually automatic, but with ASA B394 or higher you must refresh manually.Thanks,

No, I have not been refreshing the AI manually. I have not installed any betas. Is there a preference to have it performed automatically?

That report isn't showing any wind!

Hi Kevin,If winds are calm then that is a valid entry and it is the same in both reports.FS cannot report this so it adds a direction and a speed. Anything under 6kts is considered Calm in FS.Thanks,

ASA was not showing calm winds but ASV v6.5 reported the same as the text file.Why the disconnect between ASA decoded METAR and text file? ASV v6.5 decoded METAR agreed with the text file.

Read the METAR's again. 0 kts IS as calm as it gets!BTW I use ASA and Topcat with no problem.
