Visibility & Colour Problems

Featured Replies

Hi. I use AS6.5. I know a lot has been said about this already, but despite following what advice I have found here, I haven't really reached a compromise I am happy with. I know that FS9 will cause a sudden change in visibility (often at around 5000' - what are the deciding factors for the altitude at which this occurs?). I also get a change in colour, from whitish to a bluish white. It's not very pretty of course.Today, the changes seemed worse than ever, changing between these every 15 seconds or so:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/martinlest/4.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/martinlest/3.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/martinlest/2-2.jpgand at worst (this one happened suddenly, at a much higher altitude), this:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/martinlest/1-3.jpgWhat are the best settings in AS6.5 to minimise this effect, and the sudden change of visibility that everyone seems to suffer from? I've been tinkering for hours, with/without Haze Layer etc. etc. but have not really got it right. Thanks!Martin

Hi,Smooth Visibility On.Maximum visibility set to 30.Everything else is up to FS and it's graphics engine. There are also FSUIPC visibility settings you can make if you have the registered version. Thanks,

Pretty much what I have set Jim. The main problem is the flashing between the 2nd. and 3rd. screenshots. Nothing to be done then maybe.Martin
