Hello Everyone!Thank you for your patience while we have prepared the next beta SP1. This will (hopefully) be the last beta version before official release. Some important notes:- This is a beta version, not yet official - use at your own risk- Install the update over the top of your present installation- Please read the revisions.rtf document included in the update package to see what has changedThe download is at: http://dreamcatcher.hifisim.com/ASA-Update-B406.zipThis update incorporates several fixes and enhancements that we've been working on since the initial release of ASA. It is quite comprehensive. This final beta round is designed to verify that there are no significant problems in this build relating to specific user configurations, and no blantant 'bugs' remaining. If you experience a bug, note that something you previously reported is not properly fixed, or have a suggestion, please write to: [email protected] with the subject line ASA BETA REPORT. If you do not send your 'report' to this email, we will NOT properly receive and log it. We hope to make an official release as soon as possible so if you have a problem please report it ASAP. Thank you! Some other notes:- While we're happy with all we've accomplished with this update, we should be realistic about expectations- We have NOT fixed all FSX bugs- We have NOT eliminated all potential PMDG s-turn issues with DWC mode- We have NOT eliminated all FSX visual artifacts and cloud 'flickers'- We have NOT eliminated ALL potential wind shifts or 'flickers'- We HAVE significantly reduced or eliminated dozens and dozens of FSX bugs and issues negatively affecting weather depiction- We HAVE significantly reduced potential PMDG s-turn issues (only related to DWC mode)- We HAVE significantly reduced FSX visual artifacts and cloud 'flickers'- We HAVE significantly reduced wind shifts and their affect on the flight, especially with DWC mode- We HAVE spent hundreds of hours on this update fine-tuning, tweaking, re-writing and refining things based on user feedback to improve this product as much as possible given our limitations- We WILL continue to spend hundreds of hours improving things further- We WILL continue to work with other parties to enhance integration and compatibility- We WILL continue to gratefully accept user feedback and reports Thank you everyone for your support! We look forward to the official release of SP1 and then our work will turn focus to SP2 which is expected to include several new features that we will announce soon! Thanks goes out to the Beta team for help get this new build ready! Here is the revision log:Service Pack 1 (B406):Enhancements:- Revised Interpolation methods for increased performance and accuracy.- Revised sim communication methods for increased performance and accuracy.- Increased transition speed of visibility with Visibility Graduation and Smoothing.- Increased performance of write processes to reduce simulator stuttering.- Reduced occurrence of cloud pops in FSX DWC mode (some remaining visual artifacts, redraws and texture pops are normal and unavoidable with FSX).- Added short time display to main screen log messages.- Improved performance of write processes in both FSX and FS9.- General performance and overhead improvements throughout.- Improved smoothing interval of DWC in FS9.- Added context menu to right-click of Taskbar item for ASA.- Added
