May 4, 200917 yr Alex, I tried to locate the "panel confg" that contains the line, "VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT(left)_EYE= x,y,z". I couldn't find it. I looked in the differant panel folders for the differant models of the Aeroworx B-200 King Air and found the panel config for each version, but that line was not there. Please give me more instructions to locate ther reqiured line to modify the wing views. Thanks jerrycwo4

Thanks jerrycwo4--------------- Can you find the line-"VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT(left)_DIR=xyx ?The EYE line is usually above it. These lines may appear in PCfg for only one of the variations of your plane You may have to search thru all airplane variation PCfg files.Or try a search perhaps?I'd be surprised if it doesn't exist- usually only missing in default aircraft.Alex Reid

Make sure Window/Cockpit views # 01/02 are set to "Cockpit" not "Virtual Cockpit". That should get rid of the wings altogether in the outer views!! Alex Reid
May 5, 200917 yr Author Alas, there is no line in any of the "panel.cfg" files that uses the words, "eye... x,y,z." When using the keys to move the engine and wing INDEPENDENT of the background scenery, I can move the wing up, down, forword and backward, but I can not move it (or pan) in a horizonal direction, keeeping the scenery locked into place. I'm wondering if anyone has tried to make a new prespective of the wing/engine on a 45 degree line instead of the straight on and 90 degree line that the wing and engine is in now. I did move the line of the wing out to about 45 degrees and I liked the way it looked, BUT the scenery was NOT lined up CORRECTLY in the outer views with the center view. This is hard to describe in words. I wonder if anyone else besides you, Alex, have a clue as to what I'm talking about or trying to do. If you fly with a single monitor you do not have this problem. jerrycwo4

I suspect erasing the wing entirely may be the only solution. Is this a default plane?Alex Reid
May 6, 200917 yr No, it is the Aeroworx B-200 King Air . jerrycwo4Jerry- see my reply and notes today re views & triple mons in the thread "In the panel cfg folder------" in this forum. In the real world, you would not see wings in Views L/R Fwd.Alex Reid
