If I get GEX, will it included the enchanced Autogen part 1 & 2? I know the EAs are available as free downloads, but will it be necessary, since I am planning to get GEX US?

Nope!They will be included with Europe as a courtesy.. they are not included with the USA\CAN\Alaska package Make sure after you install GEX to click the UPDATES button. Version 1.08 patch can be downloaded from there. Close the interface, run the patch and then open the interface and install the selections.If you do not have UTX installed, you only need the first 2 selections.. with UTX, all 4

I am confused. Will the above steps add the EA to the US version? or are they just for EU version? Also, You had mentioned that EU GEX will have a fix for stutter causing autogen trees. Is this fix part of the 1.08 patch?Thanks in advanceFrank

NoThat tree tile fix will come with Europe and its good for the entire world where ever those tree tiles are used. As we get feedback past beta and into release we may try to tweak it more before making a 1.09 patch for USA\Canada users who do not purchase Europe which will also include some of the Europe upgrades for mountain and valley terrain. That patch will not come until after Europe is released and if Europe is purchased the patch will not be necessary for North America users.. it will all be included in Europe which shares tiles with North AmericaThe free autogen textures are buildings and have nothing to do with trees. They repair many tiles Aces left out night lighing as well. Part1 and Part2 is required and installed in that order.
