Host unable to play after crash

Featured Replies

When friends and I play online, we like to find stupid places to land and take off (extreme bush flying). Sometimes, that tree just can't be avoided and, CRASH. After my virtual demise, I am never able to rejoin the "flying" session. I can watch from my "frozen on the runway" arcraft, but that is it.What am I doing wrong? help?... and dont say "don't crash". I've tried that.

When I play on my LAN I've noticed that when the host crashes, for whatever reason, the host services are transfered to one of the other players. One of the other players is asked if they would like to host the session, and they have to agree for the session to continue. It may be that you have to rejoin the session as client rather than as host. In this case you'll probably have to return to the lobby and join as a regular client.

Turn off 'crashes' in FS, end of problem.

I think I've found an answer to this! When you're hosting a session and you crash you hit the Aircraft (reload) key combo to get your aircraft working normally again. You'll probably have to assign a key press for this which you'll find in the Contols/Buttons and Keys dialogue.
