Very long loading times

Featured Replies

I have set up the AirHauler Base in HTPE, Tanzania since I have never flown there. What I have noticed, it is the loading times there - 20 to 25 minutes, which is a horror. I try to load FSX and jump to that airport directly via FSX (without AH) - the same. The progress bar goes up to 29% ('loading terrain...' status) and slows down. Under perf. monitor I can see that it is alomost excusively FSX who reads from the disk (Raptor).I use ASA (without it loading times are exactly the same), UTX, FTX (always off when outside Australia), GEX and What a Wonderful World. This issue only occurs at HTPE and in its vicinity.Do anybody noticed there (near HTPE) same anomalies? It is a fresh installation of FSX, defragmented, computer is rather fast. I have no problems in diffrent parts of the world.

Using the trike and daylight time it took around 40 secs. to load at HTPE for me. That's with scenery maxed, otherwise it would have been a little less.Do you have any addon mesh for Africa installed?

The funny thing is no - nothing should be loaded besides stock graphics and some WWW textures. Thanks MeshMan for involving.
