ATC can be quite stinky!

Recommended Posts

Oh man...Well, I've had three flights in a row which ATC has completely botched.First off, an ongoing annoyance (which was kinda funny the first million times) is when I'm getting set up for final, say, at 3,000 feet, and they tell me to get a visual on a Cessna @7,500 feet going the opposite direction four miles away... in 2 mile visibility. Barf.Next, for the past three flights, I've been vectored into oblivion... turn right heading 320... turn left heading 210... turn right heading 320... turn left heading 210...turn right heading 320... turn left heading 210...turn right heading 320... turn left heading 210...Also, will ATC ever conform to the 3-1 descent rule? (That is, 3 miles per thousand feet altitude) - I haven't noticed them doing this.Last, and I know people have mentioned this, it's a hoot when I'm told to expect a visual after carefully planning an IFR flight. Whoooo-e!Ok, rant is over. Let's hope they patch this up!Andrew

Wait for COForGet Radar Contact. See the RC forum here on AVSIM. There is also a review here on AVSIM. I use it heavily and like it. If you get it you will need a TCS gauge since AI is not recognized in most circumstances but you can with some fiddlinh hear both MS and RC ATC.
