Also, i notice most new cards are PCI express 2.0, can my motherboard support that or that is not a problem at all. thanks.Nick

For graphics card, I would say go with anything that is in your budget, and don't let anyone worry you about CPU bottlenecks. You will still get loads more performance. So my suggestion for a video card would be the Geforce 250 or 260, or if you want AMD go with the Radeon HD 4850 or 4870. If your money permits it, you can go with the top end 4890. ATi cards are great for FSX unlike what most people say, just look at ronaldmcgriffin on youtube, and keep in mind FSX only utilizes 1 GPU. May 28, 200917 yr You need to check your motherboard. Many would only take AGP cards and cannot use PCI cards. Some did both. Take a look at the motherboard to see what it will allow before you spend any money on videocards. Don't go overboard as your processor and the 939 motherboard may not give you much performance increase in FSX by purchasing a video card.
