May 29, 200917 yr Hello there I flashed the BIOS (Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P) to the latest version F3. I got the ACC which enable me to see the CPU (AMD Phenom II X3 720BE) cores and this is what I see: toggling: between: Auto, Manual or Disable options I see Cores 0 to 3 & the value (-2) next to each on of them Now: A) Does It means I have the 4th core revealed ? :( How to set this thing up. (I set it for Auto & boooom it crashed ) C) If I do have the 4th Core up and running what will be the impact on performance (The rig is mainly use for FSX) All BIOS features currently set to auto which is the default Other components: GPU nVIDIA G-Force 9800GTX+ by PNY MEM 4Gig DDR3 TR3X6G1600C9 by Crosaier PSU 500W Stealth XTream by OCZ Your advice is highly appropriated !
May 29, 200917 yr 0-3 means there are 4 cores, 0,1,2,3 see?enabling ACC allows the 4th core to be re-enabledyou could try manual perhaps if auto causes your system to crash
May 30, 200917 yr Not having your BIOS screen in front of me I don't know what all your options are so there may be an additional setting you need to change in order to enable ACC when you set it to manual rather than auto, but it's worth a try.
