Probably more a a software issue but I am not sure where else to post this question. When I defrag using the windows defrag tool I get a messge that not all files could be defragmented. I look at the report and it doesnot identify what file it is. This has happened in the past and it usually tells me what file it is and I can delete it and then the defrag gives me no error. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this without too much technical know how or anything short of deleteing all of msfs. By the way thats all I play on this computer. Thanks Andrew

I am no expert, but windows not being able to defrag a file is not an error, there are certain system files that can not, and are not supposed to be moved by the defrag process.Better still if you got $30 or so, buy UltimateDefrag or O&O defrag , these give you more control over the degrag process, and also a second opinion on what windows is telling you.Not being able to move or defrag a file is not an error.
