Posted in Carenado forum but trying this forum because it gets more views.I have a really strange issue with the cargo version of the Caravan. I flew this flight several times with different aircraft. Orbx PNW from Concrete 3w5 to KORS both ORBX add-on airports. Start with the Cargo Caravan just as I pass from land to the water with the cargo Caravan everything goes blurry and loses all detail. Looks like a big mess. With the Passenger Caravan and the Carenado F33 and A2A accusim B-17(resource intensive) I have no blurring. So I have tried several airports all in the ORBX North America regions and FS addon Tongass Fjords. With the cargo Caravan I get blurring. I guess my question is why the cargo Caravan and no other airplanes?I did have a much more frequent blurring problem but I put the most recent drivers in my video card. I had mentioned the lack of a Baron in a thread a week or so ago. Glad to see this is being made. It will be a welcomed addition to my virtual hangar.

Hey I dont know why exactly. When FS2002 came out before my add-ons from Fs2000 got upgraded I flew the Default Baron through 49 of the 50 US states and I had a blast. Ever since then I have loved the Baron. I got spoiled by the Dreamfleet Baron and I miss it. In my post I indicated with the praise the that the airplane gets it must be me. It's just the way I feel and meant to be knock on the airplane.

I used the cfg auto tweaker and one of the recomendations for was to use an external FPS limiter which I downloaded but I can't figure out how to get it to work. File name FPS_Limiter_0.2. Can anyone help me out with getting this to work.

Thanks for the replies. I looked into the DF Baron update but I am sure I would screw that up. I would just like a regular Baron can't believe there hasn't been one released for FSX. Seems like a no brainer. I do have the Real Air Duke and it flies great but I find it very boring. I find myself bored stiff flying along. I realize it must be me because everybody raves about it. Hopefully someone will step up and make a Baron.

I have always been a gig "fan" of the Beech Baron. The Dreamfleet one for FS9 was awesome but it seems st this point there wont be an upgrade to FSX. I was wondering if there is any upgrades available to the default Baron available. I have seen a few after a google search but I wonder if anybody has any recomendations?Thanks

Phil, My computer isnt the best but if you follow all that was said above you should really enjoy PNW. It changed how I sim and I love every bit of it.

I was wondering about peoples thoughts on this add-on. Looks like it might be interesting but it seems a little expensive. I could pre-pay for the Orbx Northern Rockies for around the same price so it would have to be something pretty special. Just wonder if anyone wants to give me their thoughts.Thanks

Thank you for the replies. I had a sneaking suspicion about the overtaxing. It seems logical. What throws me off is that it does not happen to the Pax version. Must be something in the detail with the cargomaster. Maybe the cargo boxes??? It also only happens on exterior view. After a few minutes in cockpit all is fine again.

I am having an issue with the Cargo Caravan in all repaints. The only add-on repaint is the fed ex feeder the other 2 came with the download. When I pick and exterior view at Orbx PNW add-on Concrete, Orbx PFJ Annette island, and at Tongass Fjords X Sitka all my menu lettering gets washed out as well as ATC box. The scenery gets blurry and dull to. I do not have any issue with the passenger Caravan or any other of the many add-on aircraft I have. I have asked for help on the Orbx forum but since it is happening at different add-on sceneries and only with the Cargo Caravan it must be that airplane. I can't figure it out and was just hoping some people would have ideas. I was pretty much an FS9 only Mega airport to Mega airport simmer. The videos and screenshots of Orbx PNW really caught my eye. It caused me to dust off my copy of FSX gold and try and run it. I first bought the A2A cub and now have a real collection of GA that I fly around all these small airports in the PNW. All my Mega airports are not loaded even FS9 is uninstalled. A long flight for me might be to take the A2A B-17 up to Tongass Fjords and back. The scenery has changed how I sim and this month a new area Pacific Fjords is going to be released and before Christmas Northern Rocky Mountains. I haven't even finished exploring all of PNW.I recomend this scenery to anyone it is amazing.

Its happened to me a couple of times. I usuallu chalk it up to the fact that my computer isnt the strongest out there. I usually exit FSX and then start it again and everything is fine.

Ok I loaded Air file manager imported the text file and then I get an error in German so I have no idea what it is telling me. I appreciate what everyone is doing it's a little frustrating that Carenado can't make these changes and send out a new FDE to make life easier on people like me who are every new to this.Thank you

Ok I have a question. I dont know how to edit the air file. I would love to have the fix to this airplane but am not really sure how to make the air file changes. I can change the config. I just need to be pointed in the right direction how to get the air changed.Thanks

Very informative Al. Thanks. I was around 9 in 1977 and I dont remember much of the politics but I do remember the political satire cartoons and I also remember grownups talking about how horrible this new superconic airplane will be. Very ill informed people.

Thanks Chock for the info and detailed explanation. I may just keep flying the cub since I use the airplane in the FTX PNW. I can fire up the Bonanza if I need to go a little faster than the cub will allow.

I have the A2A Piper with accusim and it's a blast to fly. I have become a real fan of accusim (B-17 also). I have also been admiring the Sibwings Bird dog and wondered if any one has an opinion on me adding the Bird Dog. The Bird Dog looks really nice in the screenshots but I wonder of there is enough difference if I was to have both? If I get the Bird Dog would it just be the Cub with a different panel and skin? Or is it possible they are different enough to enjoy both?Thanks
