FPS Limiter

Featured Replies

I used the cfg auto tweaker and one of the recomendations for was to use an external FPS limiter which I downloaded but I can't figure out how to get it to work. File name FPS_Limiter_0.2. Can anyone help me out with getting this to work.

This is the instruction I use, when I forget or re-install:http://asia.gamespot...pic_id=26943828Be aware that FSX is DX9 - therefore choose D3D9 in the GUI.Good luck!

I'm using Vista and I made it all easier this way:
  1. Created a shortcut on my desktop to the bat file.
  2. Assigned the fsx.exe icon to the shortcut, which makes the shortcut look like the original fsx shortcut.
  3. Moved the shortcut to the taskbar, which enables me to start fsx with a single click on the fsx icon.

Make sure that the shortcut created in step 1 has the property Start in set to the folder where the bat file is located, which should be the same folder where the fps limiter files are stored in.
