June 2, 200917 yr Can anyone help me? Is there a way to make it work under Windows 7 or is it really incompatible? If you do a little search in this forum, you'll find that at least one person has managed to get it going under Windows 7 after some tinkering.

June 29, 200916 yr Here's how I got it to work with Win7 RC 64-bit:When the system starts, tap F8 and disable the signed driver enforcement. You need to do this every time you plan on flying with TP.Run -> Services.msc. Stop "Windows Search" and also temporarily set it to Disabled (otherwise it will keep restarting). Not sure if this is always needed but since I have Windows Search index my entire drive, it kept accessing the tileproxy folders every time they changed.Right-click ProxyUser.exe and choose "Run as administrator" - no need to disable UAC. It will automatically disable Superfetch just like it did in Vista. -
July 15, 200916 yr if this helps someone who could be in my case, I tested all posible solutinons and W7 rc 64 kept on blocking a right tileproxy instalation when trying to put a library in system32, even when UAC seems to be disable. The only thing that worked for me is to push f2 when booting and choose "boot system without cheching software signature" (sorry for my english, I dont know if that is the right english translation).
July 23, 200916 yr Anyone got any luck running this under Windows 7 32?I tried searching but the forum won't search for "7" as it is under 3 characters and a search for "Windows" alone brings up too many results.Right now I have the ERROR connecting to filter porl 0x80070002 error.
July 23, 200916 yr After a lot of faffing I have got it working. Windows 7 definitely makes this harder than expected!
