I saw a video some time ago and it featured a 747-400 with engine heat haze effect,not sure if it was FSX or FS9. All I can seem to find is smoke. Any ideas where to find will be appreciated.

Avsim Library: - ees_v32.zip by Martyn Becker, Version 3.2 January 2006. for Flight Simulators 2004 and 2002. I expect you can try it in FSX.
