June 7, 200916 yr I'm looking for the following data for the Airbus A300-600:Average fuel burnCruise altitudesV-speedsDoes anyone know any of the above. I finally figured out how to turn on and use the HNAC A-300, and now I need these to plan a flight.thanks
June 7, 200916 yr Typical cruise is at 35,000 feet. Average fuel burn varies on payload, but you can work that out from fuel capacity and range: Typical range is about 4,000 nautical miles with a 200 nautical mile range reserve. Keep in mind you'll get a different average fuel burn over a long range though, as the cruise will represent a bigger portion of the flight.Maximum payload drops the range to about 2,650 miles as it would probably include a stepped climb up to 35,000 as well as limiting MTOW. There is a slight difference in performance depending on which engines you have modeled, the Pratt and Whitney PW4000s get a tiny bit more range out of the thing than the General Electric CF6s, although we are talking less than 1 percent difference.V-speeds for take off and landing will depend on your weight and ambient temperature, so there is no one set of V-speeds for those, and the correct ones should be able to be found in the FMC display, but I can tell you that Vle is 270 (240 for retraction), manual pitch trim limiting speed is 285 knots, maximum flap operations (20,000 feet limit), are the following: slats 15 - 260 knots, slats and flaps 15 - 215 knots, flaps 20 - 205 knots, slats 30 and flaps 40 - 175 knots. Max crosswind component is 32 knots, max tailwind is 10 knots.More info can be found here: http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/airbus/A300A310/Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
