June 7, 200916 yr Guys, did anyone try to fly full ILS approach to EHAM runways or any other airports, particularly those that require procedural turn, like for example EHAM ILS RW6 or RW18R? If you set up STAR in VOXATC it will give you freedom from transition to IAF only and after that VOXATC will take over and vector you to the indicated ILS RWY but in a very different way from the one you'd find in ILS approach charts. Did anyone try to set up STAR in VOX ATC from the transition TO THE FAF instead and from there land ILS under VOX control? Would it work this way or FAF is too close to the final landing path for VOX ATC, so it would turn you around according to its own 'mental' picture?Thanks,Dirk.
