June 8, 200916 yr There was feature in FSNavigator that allowed you to set a complete auto flight including take off, various on route altitudes thru to complete autolanding. A total hands free flight.Do any of the FSX Flight Plan programs also offer an equal option. I dont see it actually written in any of the specs for example FSIM Commander, FSBUILD etc.Any info gladly received.

Do you want to play passenger instead of pilot? :( Just curious. :(
June 8, 200916 yr Author Not that I know... BTW I wonder why you would want that...? Do you want to play passenger instead of pilot? :( Just curious. :(I used to enjoy the availability of that extra dimension. Yes.. sometimes i would load a short flight and view it thru to completion along with FlightDEck Companion pilots doing all the interaction. Just another aspect to FSX repatoir and a good little aspect to run while eating my dinner on my lap !!
June 8, 200916 yr I miss FSNav too. Several threads have made mention of FS Commander being the closest but not delivering everything that FS Navigator had. I believe Aerosoft is the main distributor of it.As for playing passenger, that does have its merits. I work from home and often load up a low-altitude flight using the default flight planner and basically watch the spot view as a cool screen saver on my other computer while working.Thaellar
June 8, 200916 yr FSPilot is a "universal autopilot". You can program it for hands-off flight very easily. It even flies helicopters. Best of all, it's shareware, and there's a free version available, at least last time I looked. I too have/had many circumstances which were very suitable for "watching" a flight like the one you describe. Get all your settings and relevent addons going and set a flight and watch.......it's like another TV channel !
