I have heard that when it comes to Heli platform ops Los Angeles is the opposite of New York. While New York outlawed rooftop helipads after an incident resulting in ground fatalities, L.A. law REQUIRES every building over 22 stories to have a rooftop helipad so the fire department can perform heli evac ops if necessary.I have yet to see a detailed scenery of Los Angeles, either payware or freeware. There is a freeware "Blue sky scenery" for Downtown LA (FS9). I have this installed in FSX. The buildings all look nice in FSX. Except the High resolution Textures tend to bleed through when you get very close. Not sure if the buildings are landable. I don't believe it is.LAX_Central1.jpghttp://www.blueskyscenery.com/
