Any help on how to remove default aircraft from Traffic.I am using TrafficX. With this tool i know you can go and remove all deafult aircraft from a list of AI used by TrafficX, but i am hoping there is an easier way to do this, like say a specific bgl i need to delete for example.I am hoping to get increased performance by disabling the default aircraft.Any help

Default traffic can be removed by disabling the file trafficAircraft.bgl which is in the FSX folder Scenery\World\Scenery.Rod.

Thanks For that.I am already using Trafficx, 1 - what is advanatage of removing default traffic2 - Removing default traffic does not remove defualt aircraft in traffic. I think its cause TrafficX also uses default aircraft.I think i am really trying to get rid of default traffic and default aircraft. To improve perfromance.This must mean that, when i installed TrafficX it never deleted the defualt Traffic. ???

NEVER "delete." RENAME! You never know when you might want/need the file again... :( trafficAircraft.bgl_ORIGINAL

Also, you want to remove the FSX default aircraft. Doing so will cause many problems. They cause no performance impact if you remove the default traffic file. I also doubt TrafficX uses any of them.

Thanks people, renaming the aircraft bgl file got rid of defualt traffic as i wanted.So all i see now is TrafficX traffic, but defualt aircraft are still visible cause they used by TrafficX, but I have found way to remove them using TrafficX control centre.I hope there will at least some perf increase from removing defualt traffic, certainly looks like less traffic than normal at heathrow so far.The only reason i started about getting rid of defualt aircraft and traffic is cause i here you get better performance if you are using only TrafficX traffic and AI aircraft.
