I seen on a post (27march2007)AS6.5 with FSX and FS9*******************************The answer is:*************FSX Compatibility.txt9) Using both FS9 and FSX with ASv6.5.If you have both versions of FS installed and wish to use them both with ASv6.5, you may wish to point the ASv6.ini FS9 folder entry to your FSX path instead of FS9, so that AS can properly update any required station database files. This is generally not required and will not make a significant difference in depiction either way, but may help in certain areas with few reporting stations. If you've pointed the path entry to FSX, there will be no need to point it back to FS9 when using FS9 because such database entries will have already been updated.***************************My Original ini data pointed to FS9 folder correctly://ASv6.5 configuration file Build 552[General]WindowPosX = 495WindowPosY = 495DefaultWeatherFolder = C:\FS9\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\ASv6\SuppressionCeiling = 20000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = C:\FS9\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\PersonalAppDataFolder = C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\CloudLayerLimit = 2*******************************************************I changed the ini data FS9Path to point to FSX folder://ASv6.5 configuration file Build 552[General]WindowPosX = 495WindowPosY = 495DefaultWeatherFolder = C:\FS9\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\ASv6\SuppressionCeiling = 20000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = C:\FSx\PersonalAppDataFolder = C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\CloudLayerLimit = 2Is it correct to point FS9Path = C:\FSx\ to filght SimX like I did here?*************

Hi,Start ASv6.5, process your plan, and start FSX. AS will run just as it did with FS04.Thanks,

Jim,Ok, that sounds a lot easier than doing any editing of the INI file.I will copy back the original INI file without the edits mention above.

Hi,The line you will need to edit is the PersonalAppDataFolderline. That should point to Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\I know that "Roaming" is in that path for Vista users somewhere. Thanks,
