Hello, Many thanks to everybody who helped me to see where I went wrong. I finally got it and now everything works and I understand the system better. Thanks again. BTW, is there a version of the Noorduyn Norseman for FSX? I see that there is one for FS2004 but will it work in FSX? I don't have any other versions of FS, only FSX w/Acceleration and SP2. May life smile, Fritz

You're welcome Fritz. Glad to hear you got it working at last. It's a long road you've begun, but tinkering with the .cfg files is half the fun. There are so many ways you can make things work your way.As for the Norseman, I've not heard of this one. But my experience importing FS9 birds tells me that you should give it a go since you may get lucky with it working without further modification. Even if it takes some work it may not be too difficult. When you unzip the .zip file the folders are practically the same with the exception being that aircraft go in the \SimObjects\Airplanes folder rather than in the \Aircraft folder. If there's an installer just let it install to the \Aircraft folder (which it will create if you haven't) then copy your new bird's folder to the \SimObject\Airplanes folder when it finishes. It's fairly easy.Good luck.
