FSX & My system, what to expect?

Featured Replies

Hi allI've just bought a Phenom II X4 940, 8GB RAM and a GTX 275 graphic card. What can I expect as performance in FSX? I heard that it won't be enough for very high details, but it should allow fairly high details?ThanksSven

You won't be able to max out *everything* but it should certainly be enough to run this sim at acceptable framerates with a few compromises.

Thanks a lot, I cant wait to test it soon...I've read that there are a lot of tweaks around for boosting the performance, is there a wiki or something? Thanks!

There are very few real tweaks left since FSX was patched to SP2. Make sure you have FSX SP2 or Acceleration installed. This post by Nick is all you will ever need for FSX.
