FSX 767

Does the FSX version have a HUD modeled? Will the new 757 have a HUD modeled? Thanks in advance,Chris R

Nope, the FSX version of the 767 does not have a HUD and I would think it is unlikely that a 757 model would have one, since it isn't a commonly available option on the real aircraft. As far as I am aware the 737 NG range is the only current Boeing production airliner where the HGS (HUD) is a commonly available option, although that may change with the B787 when it finally gets going.A HUD system is available on some Airbus models (the real ones) and I believe the HGS of the 737 can be specced as a (very expensive) option on other Boeing aircraft. About the only choice for a HUD on an airliner for FSX at the moment is the Ariane 737, which is good fun and does work, but it is very slightly simplified in comparison to the real NG's HGS. Apparently the PMDG 737 for FSX is going to have the HGS too, and it is likely to be a bit closer to the real deal than the one in the Ariane version.Al
