Reloading aircraft repaints

Featured Replies

Hi all,I have done a few repaints in FSX (Accel) and have no problem there - but one thing that frustrates me is that sometimes the Aircraft Reload function doesn't always seem to work, requiring time consuming restarts to FSX.Does anyone know why this occurs or does everyone just put up with it?! P

I am not sure about this . ( its not a real paintingproblem )Sometimes ago I have see a publication about something like this.I might help to turn off all AI activities. As I said I am not sure, give it a try.Leen de JagerpsInstead of reloading the repainted aircraft in FSX to see the results of the paintwork it might be handy to useFSRepaint as a 3D viewer, keeping in mind FSRepaint is not capable of loading all FSX compatible aircraft.

since i don't use FSX i can't say it works there, but in fs9 if you turn off your AI traffic it will reload your current aircraft better. I was given this advice from another forum and can't remember where it was. but it doesn't cost anything to try.

Thanks to both of you anyway! :( Sadly, that doesn't fix the problem in my FSX setup. I will try some other knowledgable simmers to see what a soultion may be.Cheers.

that's what I love about your "so called" expertise, Leen. so, your reply didn't show up for some reason when I posted my reply.your attitude really stinks. I guess if i want to reply to someone else, i should PM you and ask your permission first?Or maybe say the heck with it, and not offer any more advice.you make this forum a real joy to visit.

Sorry Johnh,Very strange , I posted in the morning and you in the afternoon.Nevertheless you missed my post , because you could not see it?Nor did you see my post suddenly present on top of your post, after posting yours? So my post must have popped up between two already existing posts.I`ll inform the managment about this phenomena. :( Best regardsLeen de Jager

you might try saving the flight, then when you update the skin, reload the flight. that works in FS9, so maybe in FSX also.

your sarcastic post is noted, and appreciated, as usual.
