I often fly with PMDG 747 into kai taki have all the appropriate navaids and procedures, but when i start his flight i get on the primary eicas display the yellow caution message: LANDING ALTi read the pmdg manual ablut the abnormal procedures, and under the title LANDING ALT the manual says:

Condition: Disagreement between controller landing altitude and FMC landing altitude.

CREW ACTION:

LANDING ALTITUDE SWITCH MAN

LANDING ALTITUDE CONTROL SET

Manually set landing altitude.where are these switches???where do i manually select landing altitude??please help!!

Windows 7 64bit / Intel Core i5-3550 @3.30 GHz / 8.00 Gb RAM / ATI Radeon HD 7800 2Gb

The FMS probably can't find the information on the kai tak airport in it's database so it needs manual entry, I'm not sure where it is from memory on the 747 but I would assume it is nearby the outflow valve control/cabin pressure panel.If you mean the MD11 then it is on the overhead panel right hand side next to the outflow valve control, it's a round dial you have to set the it into manual mode (button next to it) then rotate the dial more than 120degree before the landing alt changes (as seen on SD air page)
