June 20, 200916 yr Hello!Firstly let me say a big thank you for this wonderful program! Using FS9.1 in a corel duo processor, windows vista and a 0,3 meg ADSL line, I have installed TileProxy with all defaults options and I have a good performance and very beautifulsceneries in a flight in the south of Brazil. Actually, I have good frame rates (at unlimited slide), something like 50-70 fps with TP, under CAVOK conditions. I wonder it
June 21, 200916 yr Hi, I was running Tileproxy with FS9 and didn't think my system would be up to FSX. What A surprise I had when I installed FSX and Tileproxy. The performance was considerably better. Granted, I can't get 70fps out of FPS but to run Tileproxy in FS9, you need to get the framerates up. Tileproxy runs best is FSX by limiting framerates (I usually limit mine to somewhere between 21 and 26 and still trying to work out which is best). What I did was backed up all my Tileproxy folders in case I ever wanted to go back to FS9. However, as I say, I was so surprised how well it ran under FSX that I never did.If you ever want to go back to FS9, just reinstall Tileproxy.I didn't ever try to run both at the same time, but I can't see why it would be a problem having a Tileproxy folder i both FS9 and FSX because they should sitll be able to run form the same world folder and service cache, though I have seen posts wher people sometimes have problems switching beteween one and the other. After FS9, the higher resolutions available in FSX are fantastic.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
