June 28, 200916 yr I haven't tried FSX since it first came out, since then, I have a much improved system, and have FS9 working like a charm, with a lot of favorite add-ons..........Now I am going to put FSX on a separate drive , and need some sage advice from the readers on how to install the MS patches, how to install freeware and payware aircraft and scenery, plus what basic programs do I need, such as ASAX, FSUIPC, a good terrain, some airports, and some good sceneries..........I recall that you have to manuallly make some folders before installing planes and maybe scenery: anyone know of a MS tutorial on a fresh install of the FSX??..........X has had a lot of bad press to date, but maybe now there are enough fixes to make it somewhat easy for us mid-level simmers.........Your comments will be greatly appreciated!!!
