I had lots of trouble getting smooth operation with FSUIPC for the hat switch, so I just use the P3D setting for the hat switch and the two red buttons on the CH yoke, and all works like a charm.....B42L8

Just installed, and only $15.........checked out the roads in PSP and almost like the Sate maps..........will try other locations today, but this is one of the best P3D deals out there!!!...............B42L8

Yes , the one where it takes two for twin engine planes.........that is great for handling the Baron, which is my default and 90% use.........re" the attaching methods, I move to our winter home in Tucson from Mpls each year, and both mounts are different, so I have to remove the mounting plate (easy, four screws), and rotate for the best fit, and Walla, back in business, takes 15 min, max......as I say , I like the Saitek feel best, and think it is more accurate, but again because it is finer tuned, it needs more attention in the FSUIPC set-up, but once set, I think it is more realistic..........on the other hand, the CH products seem to be more able to handle adjustments as they are not as finicky, all of this is my opinion.............some of my tuning gremlins may be due to moving the entire computer and controls four times a year as we change locations, who knows??..............not sure if any of this helps you, but maybe...........regards, B42L8

I have had both for several years, they both wowrk much the same, IMO, I switched to the Saitek TQ a few years ago, and like the feeel of these better than CH, but they are more fprone to adjustment problems than the CH, again IMO. They are both good products that are a must for any simmer, you won't go wrong with either one (or two with Saitek), make sure you have FSUIPC (reg) to calibrate and control, that is the frosting on the cake, IMO..........B42L8

thanks, I use the FSUIPC as the controller, but still have the P3D settings checked (for the two red buttons on the CH yoke), and then delete all items beyond that, and worked fine in FSX.......I just reloaded the Saiteck drivers but have not had time to see how this works.....not sure what the SPAD is??.............is this a settings program??...................when going thru the Saitek driver test, the quadrants all sorked like a charm, but I think it is a matter of cleaning the equipment but not real sure if that is something I want to tackle.......B42L8

I have two quadrants and the pedals.........the quads are giving me fits!!!........some are smooth from min to max, others go to near top of slide then jump from zero to full in i/4 of an inch.......I have tried all kinds of work-arounds and now are kinda OK, but not RIGHT.......this only happened when I used in P3D (which is here to stay!!)....any advice would be more than welcome.thanks B42L8

Join the crowd, I have Saitek pedals and quadrants...........have not been able to calibrate for last three weeks, have reg FSUIPC so tring to fix that way but so far, no results........UGH B42L8

Macpilot, I understand your frustation, I have Saitecc quadrants and pedals, and CH yoke, the yoke works OK, but the quadrants never stay in the same calibration from each new start, plus some not same range, a mess...........been working on this for last three weeks since installing P3D........have hope!!!......B31L8

This sounds like a great product, but for a"not too techy", I have a bunch of FTX airports, and all of the America Genesis land classes, but not the ORBX Global or non USA sceneries......so question is, does this work with FSGenesis?, and do I need the Global stuff?.........is there a guide for what works with what?, thanks for helping us get the best scenery programs....... OK, I have this new Vic+v8 in a temp folder, now what do I to install, there seems to be so many vaiables, so does it override the earlier Vic+ or is it to go over the OEBX files.........there does not seem to be any info in the ORBX forums to explain the install process, (or maybe I just did not read correctly).......and is this a free patch? or do we buy a new program................any help will be greatly appreciated............thanks, B42L8

guess most of what needs to be said, has been........but, for the record, I have a 37" Westinhouse monitor in tucson but a 50"LG TV back in Mpls...........the westy is better resolution, but way too small when you get used to the big one!.........both are GREAT for ready Mails and posts, would never go back to tiny screens......If you use Costco, you can buy a 50/55" and try for a couple weeks, then take back................(I actually tried four types and sizes, a bit of work, but worth it)..................B42L8

Don't forget to have a place where we can donate to our favorites, if they well accept........I still have a lot of John Loney's sceneries on my FSX, altho made for FS9........and, a long while back, there was a Mark Smith (/) who did a terrific Bremerton for FS9..........I would dearly love to have that for FSX if it is still around.............Great Idea!!
