  1. RamonB, Thanks for all your info. I'll keep searching for the Scout. Great bush plane. Below is the Flight1 offering I mentioned for FSX only. Do you thing this will work in P3D v 4.5? Bill McCracken American Champion Aircraft
  2. TVSIM, I don't have my original FSX version and never used it with P3D. The Flight1 package doesn't mention P3D compatible. What do you recommend in my situation? Thank You. Bill McCracken
  3. Over the years I have purchased the RealAir Scout, DukeB60v2, DukeTv2 and the LegacyV2. I was able to download all but the Scout from the RealAir site. Installed all 3 into P3D v4.5 with no problems. I was surprised that the Scout was not there. Does anyone know why the Scout was missing? I would like to get it to complete my RealAir aircraft. I was sorry to see they closed. They always had good products and support. Thank You. Bill McCracken
  4. Chocorua and Ray, Chocorua, Thank you for the work around. It worked like a charm the first time. No reboot required. The strange thing is before I posted. I was trying different ways to get this to work. I could have sworn that I had this working in version 5. The next day it wasn't working. I thought I had a senior moment. Kept on trying various things. With no avail. Then your work around. Let's hope it still works tomorrow. 🙂 Thanks again to both of you. A great full. Bill McCracken
  5. Ray, Yes the dll.xml were both the same. I'll contact GoFlight and see if they have any plans to update their program for Version 5. For the equipment I have I don't need the Poly payware program. Thanks Again for all your help. Bill McCracken
  6. Ray, I found the location of the files as you described above. Below are the 2 files. The Goflight sections look the same to me. I guess I'll have to wait on Goflight. Thank You. Bill McCracken Version 4,5 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>EXE.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Name>GoFlight P3D Data Bridge</Name> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\GOFlight 2-261\GoFlight\GFDevP3Dv4.exe</Path> <CommandLine> </CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_btstrp_config_manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp_config_manager.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>ChasePlane</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\OldProp Solutions Inc\ChasePlane\ChasePlane.exe</Path> <CommandLine>P3Dv4</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Version 5 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>EXE.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Name>GoFlight P3D Data Bridge</Name> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\GOFlight 2-261\GoFlight\GFDevP3Dv4.exe</Path> <CommandLine> </CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_btstrp_config_manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp_config_manager.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document>
  7. Ray, Thanks for the reply. The information is the same in both the V4.5 and V5 files. Yet GoFlight works with P3D version 4.5 See Below. From P3D Version 5 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="dll"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> </SimBase.Document> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="exe"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> </SimBase.Document> Bill McCracken
  8. I have the following GoFlight products. GF-P8 GF-T8 GF-166A VRP Has anyone got these to work with Version 5? I have used the GFConfig program supplied by GoFlight to get then to work with Version 4.5. I've changed the program location to the Prepar3D Version 5 folder. But that doesn't work. Thank You. Bill McCracken
  9. Something I hadn't taken notice before. When I select calibrate the Windows "game Controllers" window pop's up. Not the P3d calibration window. I now think I have a bad installation. I'm going to uninstall and re install. Didn't notice before till I went to V4.5 calibration. Forest for the trees. Thank You. Bill McCracken
  10. I have a registered version of FSUIPC. I have never had to use it for this type of a problem. So am I to belief this is a problem that I only I have? No one else has seen this? I was wonder if the cause was that I have v4.5 and v 5 on the same drive. Or I have a bad installation. Thank You. Bill McCracken
  11. P3d version 5 won't let me calibrate the Throttle, Prop and Mixture levers. The levers are erratic. When I go to calibrate them P3d v5 does not recognize them. Switches work fine. They work in P3d v4.5 fine. Are there new drivers for v5. If so I can't find them anywhere. Thank You Bill McCracken
  12. Caswain, Thank You. I'll give it a try. Bill McCracken
  13. I have created a flight plan in Pilot2ATC and want to export it to my GTN 750 for P3d V 4.5. I can't find the folder to direct Pilot2ATC to save it in GFP format. Can someone please tell me the correct location. So I can then load the flight plan from the Garmin catalog. I've saved it to 😄 Lockheed Martin/Prepard3D v 4/F1GTN/FPL. The Garmin does not see the flight plan. Thank You. Bill McCracken
  14. Ryan, Thanks for the info. I found a post that said to adjust the Yaw. That solved the issue. Thanks Again. Bill McCracken
  15. Ryan, Thanks. I installed it and it works. I have one issue. The helicopter bounces around like it is experiencing turbulence. Any I deal what i might be doing wrong. Bill McCracken
