So I just rented the Kodiak from the market place. Installed fine. Has amphibian version that i have not been able to get from SWS with a ticket I created with little to no response/Help from SWS. This is the first aircraft I've purchase from SWS. It will be the last. So, after $35 purchase from SWS and now faced with an additional $35 from the Market place for a working aircraft. Do you think SWS will do the right thing and reimburse me the money I paid? Bill McCracken

Alex Thanks, I took another look. It was the Microsoft EFB display the flight path differently. LittleNavMap and Navigraph displayed it the same way. Sorry bout that. Bill McCracken

I've noticed that other programs display the direction of the flight plan. Going from the bottom to the top of the display. Littlenavmap top to bottom. Can this be changed so I have all flight plan flights going in the same direction? Thank You. Bill McCracken

To save a flight in progress. Then come back to where you left off to continue the flight. I have searched. There are a lot of ways out there. But, are said to work. Same server issue here East coast USA. The same flight FS2024 crashed 3 times. Finally gave up. About 3:pm est. Did I hear/read that you could download the scenery of an area you were flying in. Say Germany and use FS2024 to fly that area with scenery on your local HD? Or was I dreaming? If I was not is it available now? Or coming? If available now where do I get information for this. Streaming is too unpredictable. I have a fast internet connection. But, can't control MS server. Thank You. Bill McCracken

I am trying to use this to export LNM file to Garmin TDS GTNXI C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTHXI\FPL. The file does not export. I get no messages indicating the file was not exported. But the file is not in the FPL folder. What could I be doing wrong. Thank You. Bill McCracken

I have Flight plans for Fs2024. I would like to load them in to Sky4sim the new integrated version. But I can't find a way to import them into Sky4sim. I know this can be done like Navigraph asking for name of file. To load. Thanks to all who reply. Bill McCracken

I have Tobi Eye Tracker 5. I am trying to bind ALT 7 to one of the Buttons on my yoke. I need detail instructions on how to do this. I've tried everything I new in the past but that doesn't work. This should be straight forward. I must be missing something. Reason for detail instruction. Thank You Bill McCracken

I spoke with Logitech support. It does not work with FS2024. They suggested for me to look into Spad. I did and it works fine. Bill McCracken

To all who took the time to reply. The saying sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. Seems to apply here. My fix was to change the keyboard profile to the FS2024 in controls and all works as before. How it changed and what it was change to I have no idea. Again, thanks to all. Bill McCracken

Is it the full keyboard now or just the ESC key? If the latter, did you check your keyboard / button assignments? It is the full keyboard. Looking at most of the keyboard assignments are blank. Interestingly, I had this happen to me today as well in MS2024, SU2. At first I thought my keyboard had died, but it worked with other apps. I eventually restarted the sim, or maybe the computer (don't recall for sure), and the problem went away, and so far has stayed away. I have no idea what caused this bizarre problem. I have restarted both the sim and the computer more than once. Over the past several days. I hope I don't have to reinstall the sim to get the keyboard back. Thank you. Any additional ideas is appreciated. Bill McCracken

The title says it all. Outside the sim the keyboard works fine. I noticed the sim didn't recognize the esc key. Anyone have this problem? Don't know what I could of done. I've notice other strange issues after the last update. I'm not in the bata program Thanks Bill McCracken

Reply to suggestions: I find after a reboot of the PC and going back into MSFS fresh, it comes back / reappears a large percentage of the time, if not always. Worth a try - takes just a few minutes. Did not fix issue. The content.xml file should be in the "LocalCache" folder. Found the file <Package name="fs24-microsoft-aircraft-pa28-236-dakota" active="Activated"/> Looks the same as you listed. Search n your library for “Dakota”. I suspect you will find it, disabled. Reenable it and that should solve your woes Found file all it says is streaming. No mention of disabled. I appreciate all your suggestions and time spent. It appears everything is as it should be. Another stupid question, Where in FS2024 aircraft all list does your file appear. After which aircraft. I've gone through this list several times and don't see. Don't think I missed. Thanks to all Bill McCracken

Bert, In Local Cache/Packages/streamedPackages I found the file. What I don't under stand is where is the active=Activated go? At the end of the file name as shown here or inside the folder. sorry but not clear to me. Please explane more for this older person.
