  1. Thank you! I see, so this is better than nothing. Btw - I am using your EGLL file and it is great!
  2. Hi Niko, as far as I understood the manual, you do not recommend buying from MSFS Marketplace, since the airport files are encrypted in a .bgl file and not available as .xml files. That is understood, but does that mean that these purchases are useless in combination with PSXT or does the program (or the learner) create an .xml file that can coexist with the .bgl file? Or does that mean that one has to create an airport file by hand, as described in the manual? I.e. I have bought Edinburgh and Heathrow from Marketplace. The Learner is treating them as "stock airports". What does that mean exactly? Best regards, Holger
  3. Hi Nico, thanks for your replies. Pisa Airport has working AI Traffic (AMSIM Version). Geneva as well.. Everything is working fine now. Best regards, Holger
  4. Hi Niko, I see - sorry, my fault! I thought that as long as the Scenery Addon folder is specified in the parameters, it would recognise new entries automatically. Pressing the Scan-Button has helped. Ah, I see. Is there anything that one can do to prevent that? Best, Holger
  5. Hi Nico, I recently bought Pisa and Geneva from simMarket. Both sceneries had to be installed with the simMarket App btw... Unfortunately, PSXT does not recognise them as addon airports but as default aiports. That leads to vanishing aircraft after touchdown, so I have never seen aircraft sitting at the gates or taxiing. Do you have any suggestions? Best, Holger
  6. Once more hello, I deleted the folder C:\Users\admin22\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages and restarted PSXT. Now PSXT found automatically the corret folder and it seems to be working now. I believe that an addon created a faulty registry entry. MSFS and PSXT is working fine now. Regarding the Learner - I have no idea. I have entered a valid ICAO designator (EDDM), but, as descried above, this did not help. But, after inserting a string of various designators, such as EDDM,EDDF,EGLL,EHAM it worked. For some reason it is now also working with a single ICAO code. Don't ask me why... 😉 I actually wanted to reinstall PSXT due to all the trouble (before it finally worked), but I received a warning message from Windows Defender, that the installer is infected by a trojan. I checked it with virustotal - and it is obviously a false positive. Just to let you know. Have a nice evening. Best, Holger
  7. Hi there, I have a problem: In PSXT, I'd like to change the path to MSFS. By default it is C:\Users\admin22\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages, but MSFS is installed into C:\Users\admin22\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe. Whenevery I try to edit the directory and press return, the entire line blanks out. Same goes to the Learner. When I try to enter an ICAO-Code and press enter/return, the line blanks out, so that there is entirely without content. Is there something I am doing wrong? Best regards, Holger
  8. I totally agree with you. With the first set of pictures, I had to check twice if the World Update for France has been installed due to the lack of quality in the mesh. In fact, I don't understand why Asobo put many efforts to provide a reasonable mesh in the past World Updates (and for the next one, too! Jörg Neumann said in an interview that he is very happy with the elevation data provided by the official sources for Germany, Austria and Switzerland) if they downgrade the sim's visuals in such a drastic way. Missing mountains in the distance, flat mountains, transparent vectors with just trees - that kills the immersion when flying in moountainous areas.
  9. Nope, you can set the same date and time and Weather Preset in MSFS and you will get the same picture. Sorry, I forgot to say that the settings are the same. Yes, they do. That was my fault, because I had to try out many weather presets from SoFly's Weather Preset Pro, and I needed time to recreate the same situation as with SU4 (parking spot, date and time, viewing angle etc.) that the wet surfaces have dried in the sim.
  10. Hi there, I am one of the lucky ones who does not experience any CTDs with SU5, but I am unhappy with the visual appearance... First: Somewhere between Grenoble and Chambéry with World Update France installed Second: Somewhere over southern USA Third: Pueblo Airport, KPUB I personally did never have any performance issues with MSFS. And I do not have noticable performance improvements with SU5. I just want the quality back, that I was used to have. What do you think? Best, Holger
  11. I had the same problem. Deleting the Navigraph In-Game Panel solved the problem.
  12. Had the same problem a couple of days ago... A reinstall of the client did not help, a shader rebuild did not help, simply nothing has helped. The problem was that I undocked a window from the sim. When I docked it again, frames raised from 4 to 25 again. In my case it was the FS2Crew command bar, that I have undocked and moved to another screen. Best, Holger
