August 3, 2025Aug 3 Is anyone using the Logitech G USB G Pro Flight Radio Panel with MSFS 2024? I've seen a few videos on the subject but would like to get some actual user info from some of you on whether or not it works, without having to get some other app or hardware for it to function properly. If you're able to use it, did you have to do anything besides plug and play? I know it works for most people in 2020, but I'm only looking for functionality in 2024. Thanks. August 3, 2025Aug 3 You said you didn't want another app, but I say this with utmost sincerity - do yourself a favour and get SPAD.next. Well worth the price and this is coming from a certified Scrooge.

August 4, 2025Aug 4 cheaper option would be axis and ohs, but either way you need another program for it to work 🙂
August 4, 2025Aug 4 To get it running you don't need any app like spad or others. If you are happy with the default functions using spad or axis and ohs is an overkill. Just install the drivers available from Logitech and start the plugin if needed or make it part of the load pricess via exe.xml. Cheers T.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 Can you do 8.33 spacing with the default app? That might be a problem if flying on vatsim. I know for a fact you can either spad 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

If you need 8.33 spacing for vatsim then you have to use one of the mentioned tools. Default can't do that.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 I spoke with Logitech support. It does not work with FS2024. They suggested for me to look into Spad. I did and it works fine. Bill McCracken

Bill McCracken So, you're saying that with SPAD, the panel works correctly in 2024? Are you also able to get the 8.33 spacing with SPAD that was mentioned above? Also, some of the reviews on Amazon say that the unit doesn't work in MSFS with 3rd party aircraft like the PMDG 737 or 777. Are you, or is anyone else here using the radio panel with those aircraft? Thanks. Edited August 4, 2025Aug 4 by tamba765 Additional text Pete Locascio Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Nvidia RTX 5090, Samsung 9100 Pro 2&4 TB Drives, 64 GB RAM, Asus Z-890 motherboard.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 yes radio panel works great with spad in 2024 and 8.33 also works. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Bill McCracken You must have reached a very incompetent support rep. I have it working without any separate apps. You just have to download their msfs plugin https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360024848713--Downloads-Flight-Instrument-Panel and install it, then edit your exe.xml and add this: <Launch.Addon> <Name>Logitech Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe</Path> <CommandLine>-r</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> Just be sure the path here is the same in your installation. That's it, the plugin will open automatically when you launch msfs 2024 and your radio panel will work as it did with msfs 2020, no add-on needed. Edited August 4, 2025Aug 4 by SN737 SN737

Bill McCracken It most certainly does - I've been using one for months. The problem IMHO is that Logitech can't be bothered updating the driver. What you have to do is start the driver when the session is loaded - I have a desktop shortcut set up.

August 6, 2025Aug 6 I recall simply running the Logitech MSFS Plug-in x64 driver .exe and it installed itself in the exe.xml file so that it starts automatically when I start the sim. Has worked for years. No Spad, A&O, no nothin'.
