  1. This is one I'm starting to pay attention to, very promising.
  2. I'm running 3440 x 1440 monitor and wasn't worried until I installed the 700.
  3. Well, be worried, it's not well optimized. I have a 4070 and never had vram warning popup with the -800, with this ac I get it every flight. And this is with all my 3rd party airports with .KTX2 textures reduced to 2048 pixels.
  4. I'm watching a considerable gpu/vram hit with this -700 and the "exceed gpu memory" (don't recall the exact phrase) msfs 2024 pop-up appearing for the first time in ages.
  5. Same is happening to me but with pmdg 737-800, just after I updated to this new version, it seriously f up something.
  6. This doesn not happen with iFly MAX 8 for example, it's a pmdg "thingy". Even though I have to admit that iFly is not fully ported to msfs 2024 and pmdg is. So maybe when iFly converts it to a full msfs 2024 model it could suffer from the same 2024 LOD issues as pmdg and ai traffic does, we'll see.
  7. So true, look at pmdg 737-800 and you'll notice the LOD downgrade we received for 2024. Watch it on a static drone camera passing you by and see how it start to loose nose gear, wingtips, engines, etc. Oh and this is pmdg's 737-800 update for 2024, 'cause my ported pmdg 737-800 for msfs 2020 in 2024 did not suffer from such horrendous LOD implementation.
  8. Yes, I own ChasePlane, of course. I tried it with the pmdg 737-800.
  9. Tried the 7 day trial, none of the physics worked, only the sounds did. Yes it was installed in msfs 2024 comm folder.
  10. I wish iFly launches their version of the NG. I'll never touch PMDG one again if they keep ignoring their flight model and the sim physics. Seems they don't want to put the hours to correct this, maybe they will loose a lot of money paying staff for correcting all these flaws. That's a good reason to ignore us, for them, not for ones that would like a good representation of the NG. I think I'll switch to the iFly max, tired of making unrealistic pitch and flare to correct for the a badly modeled ground effect.
  11. There are, you just need to search and take the time (as I did and lots of others that wan to have a better 737) to read the entire thread and watch all videos in that threads. Then you will realize how wrong PMDG got this (yes they ported this BUG to msfs 2024). If you don't notice anything, 3 possibilities, 1 you still don't notice anything and keep enjoying the aircraft modelling, 2 you'll notice it and don't mind it (but you will be making a very unrealistic input at an altitude you certainly at the real aircraft you shouldn't be making) and 3 I will skip this one, I better keep this to myself as I don't want to offend you.
  12. https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/pmdg-737-for-msfs/autoflight-manual-flight-navigation/332761-strange-elevator-behaviour-on-landing-with-latest-update There are 3 or 4 more regarding the same issue.
  13. then you are fine, you will keep enjoying it. But.... your perception, doesn't make the fact that it falls at 50 feet every single time, false. If you dig in PMDG forum you'll find what I'm talking about.
  14. While this is true, it also alters the way the aircraft behaves in the air, give me the chance to set camera physics "on the ground" and another setting for "in the air". So, chaseplane ATM, for me, is very limited, tell me why haven't they managed already (3rd time I bring this up) to have zoom function for internal, separate from external views, in the config?
  15. 100% with you and I will add that they are now favoring XBOX "and Playstation" users more than PC ones. They don't care too much on fixing very important physics, they auto-introduced a bug (for more than a year now) to fix something ground effect related and since then, the aircraft, falls exactly at 50 feet, so you will have to un-naturally pitch up at that altitude not to slam the plane onto the runway, instead of flaring at 20 or 30 feet like in the real airplane and like with the iFly 737 max 8. They've ported this immersion killer auto induced bug to msfs 2024.
  16. Yeah, that's why i didn't make any physical back up of my cameras in 2020, I had to re-done everything (with a few exceptions) in 2024.
  17. I know it's experimental but I'm quite disappointed, they couldn't manage or care to fix a fundamental bug, yes bug, why couldn't they separate the zoom function from internal and external cameras?. Another big one is that if you have your view configured with the mouse scroll wheel button to be pressed to look around, PMDG clickspots will not allow you for your scroll wheel button to work. Very green build ATM.
  18. It ctd's in the middle of the tutorial.
  19. In Discord they are stating there is an issue, CP is ignoring auto unbinding option offered when first config, so you'll have to manually do this, which I have no clue how to and would not want to loose my key binds.
  20. I had it installed back when it was released for msfs 2020, then uninstalled it when I started flying only in msfs 2024 and uninstalled msfs 2020 too. Now re-installed this new version. Maybe you still have it installed in 2020 and now in 2024?
