During today’s dev stream, Jorg, who is half-Polish, excitedly announced the upcoming World Update 23 Poland & the Baltics, currently planned for October 27, 2026.

The date is probably not final, as Jorg mentioned that they are planning something, but I won’t spoil …

According to Jorg Poland was the second most requested country, Brazil being the first.

Gdansk had a predominantly german population up until 1945. Before 1831 there did not even live a single polish speaking person in the city.

Never really explored Poland and the Baltics much as there is very little scenery in msfs. There are lots of payware and freeware addon airports though and I'm looking forward to using some of these along with the new world update which is sure to include many of the most important cities in the region - TBH, I'm surprised Poland wasn't done a long time ago given that the franchise has now been running and receiving updates for over 6 years.

I am interested to know what the five hand crafted airports are. I did not fly in Poland until Drzewiecki Design released their free version of EPRA Warsaw Radom (which is very nice), so if any of these hand crafted ones are good quality (and can handle the PMDG 737), then I would be interested to check them out.

I’m guessing the data wasn’t easily available until now.

I would think that Greece is high up on the list, but I am aware that getting permission from Zeus and his cohorts is not the easiest job in the world.
