July 5, 200916 yr I have been having issues with screen curruption latley, so reinstalled vista and FSX.But TrafficX will no longer accept my license codes, cuase it thinks its a different PC, now some companies do this and you have to go on thier website to sort it out, AND IT WORKS 24/7For example, for RC4 i just need to send an email and i get a new KEY codes in matter of hours or less. With TrafficX the only way i can update the license for new PC is to call them, and they not open weekends, and its got to be between 9am to 5pm, happens to be when simmers go to work. This is usefull info for anybody thinking of getting stuff from JUstFlight, cause what you pay for only partially belongs to you.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have had no issues reinstallingFSPAxPMDGASARC4But TrafficX, be !!!!warned!!! DRACONIAN LICENSE RULES.Hi,Sorry you are having this problem. You are right. Not a good way to do business. But there are a lot of thieves out there.I have TrafficX also. It is on the shelf. UT2 is far better. Go get UT2 and be done with it. You won't be sorry. "A good landing is one you can walk away from. An excellent landing is one you can taxi away from." July 5, 200916 yr But TrafficX, be !!!!warned!!! DRACONIAN LICENSE RULES.Generally speaking, when a manufacturer of software pulls that kind of stunt on me, I have no bad conscience browsing the shadier parts of the Internet, looking for a NOCD patch or other sorts of hack to make working what should be working in the first place. For example copy protection that just doesn't recognize the original disk. I've had that a couple of times. In some cases (e.g. when a manufacturer has gone out of business) this may be the only chance to get things done.In your case, are you sure they don't offer support by E-mail as well? For FSX I've noticed any activations seem to be registered (remembered) for a certain limited time frame only. For me, FSX refused any further activation with the license code on the packaging - this was more than a year ago. Just lask week when I tried installing FSX on a new laptop it would allow me to use the original license code again. This is a way to make customers happy - don't enforce the activation count for all eternity! But I am sure, one day Microsoft will just switch off their activation server. This is when everybody will start panicking to find a NOCD patch.Christian
