July 5, 200916 yr Hi, Is there a catalog of the online aircraft, installed in SB4, so I can see them and know how my livery looks like when im online?Regards
July 5, 200916 yr hello Smoky, there are three possibility about how they see you (how your livery looks like)1- generally other online users see your plane like as their own planes, there is no matter which plane that you use. they always your plane with they own plane and models. 2- if other online users are using any VIP texture sets (which are basic models and texture sets for online flights as lite version and standart servison); firstly, they are see you on correct airplane model. If your texture matches any VIP textures, they can see you on correct livery, if your livery doesn't matches VIP texture library, they can see you on standart(default) VIP plane texture. The important point, you will be there in correct airplane model on the other user(s) screens.how can you show a livery that is on VIP library? while you can login, when you select aircraft there is a list on aircraft livery. the list comes at the top as default "generic livery" which is VIP standart livery. You can select any other livery on pull down list. Even you select it is not guranteed to show you livery on other user computers. It depends on VIP texture use.3- if other online users are using VIP standart texture set (large texture count set) and also have large number of AI planes on his computers; the same rule, this is issue of texture matches. The most of users usig VIP standarts and AI planes by thier computer capability, thatswhy they can see the other users in correct plane and livery in most times.I hope would be help your question. hakan"737"guven Istanbul/Turkey
July 17, 200916 yr Not entirely true. perhaps in FSINN which I don't use.But within Squawkbox just because you have a texture installed doesn't mean it will show properly. It ALL has to do with the setup.People take for granted that just because they're flying a American Airlines T7 that it will show properly. But the point is you have to let them know you're flying the AAL T7.I made a tutorial in the SB forums that explain exactly what I mean.http://squawkbox.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4058 Clarke Kruger - CYEG
