Hello HIFI-Support.Mode fS9 only. While starting up ASA:The command "Parsing line items" take a long time up to 3 minutes.what does ASA do here?(PentiumD 2Core 3Ghz)-----------I have local suppression Range 200NM active.but the waether changes in my visibility range of 60NM (maximum)clouds are coming and going...-----------Haze-Problem:When i am Flying through the best IFR-Weather ASA make ALWAYS the Visibilitysetting to maximum over 6000 Ft. Also when its raining and thunderstorms aktive in my area.allways maximum sight over 6000 ft. i think, that is not real...Can you make ASA so, that the visibility changes to max setting in higher level, or random level(higher!) while bad weather like rain or thunderstorm is active?-----------When i end my flight and begin a new one (end Flight - going to FS-Flight menu)then i MUST RESTART ASA. otherwise ASA makes no weather update in my FS9.1the button "refresh" did not worke here.-----------When ASA is ready (weather depiction complete) then ASA did not make arefresh to the AI-Traffic like ASV it did. can you make a button to make it automaticly afterthe first time wetter setting? like in ASV65 !My FSUIPC is 3.9 (registred - weather settings off - also weather change in FS9 off.)Thanks for Answer to my pionts, sorry for bad englishgreetings from Austria,LGAlti

Hi,1. Analyzing data and getting it into a form that FS can use. Set the ASA option to Use High Priority Processes and see if that helps. Or run ASA on Core number 2 of your system. Also, make sure that your anti-virus is not scanning things related to this process.2. That is normal. Weather is going to change according to the data. That just means that if ASA downloads new data, the new data will not be used within that range, but the older data will be used.3. That is a bad feature of FS and we cannot do much about that.4. Yes, there are some connection things we are still working on.5. No, we were automatically refreshing AI Traffic, but it was causing problems for many users, so now everyone must use the Refresh AI button, who wants their AI to be refreshed. Thanks!

Hello Jim,thank you for Answer:Another problem:When i fly with my plane, and i will set frequency 122.00 in my COM1 then i can not hearthe Voicewatch ATIS. But when i set the ATIS frequency from 122.00 in the COM2 - which is NOT ACTIVE -then i can hear the ATIS from ASA.the same ist with 122.02 when i set a route.i think, thats wrong??in the manual is written the COM must be active.and i have in the ASA Options "show in sim text messages"did ASA make no more the METAR text in the FS9 while ASV it did ?Greetings from rainy Austria,Alti

Hello Jim!I have correct it.In "FLUSIFIX" is a function, which allows all planes as standard to hear the markersounds.when this option from FLUSIFIX is on, then 122.000 you can always hear, if COM is on or off.I make the funktion of the marker sounds to standard fs >Its off< and now, the sound from ATISFlightwatchis now correct. When COM is off, then NO SOUND.EDIT: Question: Is it possible, to make the radius from any wheaterstation bigger as standard FS9 with ASA?I know, its possible when i add "raindrops.ast" or other "ast" tho the map, then below is a "application range" to set.But this application range is no active while "online-realweather". EDIT OFF.i hope you understand my english, greetings from rainy and cold austria,Alti

Hi,1. What is FLUSIFIX?2. Not sure what you mean. Do you mean the range of influence of a particular weather station? Thanks,

Thanks for Answer!Flusifix is an great german tool to improve settings for FS9 and FSX (freeware) ...look here: http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/to the weatherstaions-range:In ASV there was an option to use "global weather"... but ASA use not global weather in FS9?Example what i mean:I am Flying form A to B. In "A" there is wonderfull IFR-Weather, also in "B".But between the stations, there is no station. And there is suddenly the best IFR-Condition.I knew, in ASA is a slider: "no station cloud..." from 0 to 100.But this a random setting. When i can get an higher range from the stations A or B, then the weatheris not so random, more realistic...I did undestand that:ASV is writing the waetherstations in FS9.ASA did this not, so ASA did render the weather in dependence from the position of the plane, and depict it via FSUIPC in the FS ? Or did ASA use the stations from FS9 ??When ASA use also weatherstations from FS9 then there is no chance to set up the range, but when ASA use own method for stations, then it must be able to set up the field of activity fromevery station...I hope, you understand now, its not easy for me to speak/write english with somany technical term...from cold, rainy , windyAustriaAlti

Hi,Using your example, ASA will begin using the weather from station A and then when you get closer to Station B, ASA will slowly start to use the conditions from Station B. No, you cannot control the distance this happens using Online weather. Thanks,
