May 28, 200323 yr If I install a high detail mesh scenery like at 30.8m, but have to turn down the mesh slider to get acceptable frame rates, will there still be an improvement over the default? Thanks,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
May 30, 200323 yr Absolutely!! I have all of FSGenesis' high res mesh installed on a very old P3 500mhz machine. It works great. I usually run the mesh terrain slider at 65 to 75% and the impact is still awesome. Actually, pushing it any higher only seems to hurt FPS while not adding significanty to the visual impact.Would have responded sooner, but your post rolled off the first page so fast I missed it. And I check the forum several times a day.Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
