July 9, 200916 yr Hi.I was just wondering. Some add-on scenery makers add a land-class file to the scenery as well, so you have the main scenery and a land-class scenery as well. Can anyone tell me please what this is, and what would happen if you disable itThanks for any info. July 9, 200916 yr The land class is what terrain type is generated by default. When people change it, mostly this is done to get the surrounding terrain to blend into some add-on scenery. For example, if I wanted to make some airport scenery that had grass fields, but the default scenery for that location always showed up as desert terrain, my scenery would stick out like a sore thumb, so it would make sense to add a grassy land class to that area so that my airport scenery blended in.Hope that makes sense.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
