cant increase thrust

Featured Replies

This has happened several times. I have just started my engines and completed my after engine start and taxi checklists. I then increase the throttles but as soon as I do the power level drops down to idle and i can't increase power. I review over the procedures to make sure I didn't forget anything but I get the same problem. I restart my flight all over again doing the same things but then everything works like its supposed to and I am able to continue on with the flight. Wondering if anyone out there has had the same problemThanks,Chris

I had a similar problem. It was a conflict with assignments for my Yoke, Rudders, and Throttle Quadrant. I simply unassigned them in FS and did all assignments and calibrations through FSUIPC. The easiest way to see whats conflicting is to check under your axis assignments in FS. Check any devices you have in the drop down and look for duplicate assignments to other devices ( example : Throttle axis is also axis Y on Yoke or Rudders BTW I say "Y" as an example not as a actual axis problem). Mine had duplicates for each device. Other than that make sure whatever you are using for a throttle is calibrated properly.RegardsRichie

Thanks, I'll take a look. Not sure about the doing that through FSUIPC though. I need to look more into what it is and like you advised, go through itThanksChris
