ATC transcript

Hi All, A quick question in relation to ATC in the hope that someone can point me in the right direction. Is it possible to change the wording within ATC in FS9? For example when ATC says 'line up and wait' can this be changed to say for example 'Line up and hold' a simple example but can it be done by changing the transcript files if there is such a thing? :( Many thanks in advanceNBQ

If you use EditVoicePack the default FAA (US-style) "Position and Hold" can be changed to the ICAO "Line up and Wait" used in the rest of the world by choosing this at compilation time. I don't think there is any scope for other alternatives there. It sounds to me as if you already have EVP and have it complied to ICAO standards, in which case you can simply recompile to FAA standards but be aware that this will change other messages too.Other than that you would have to roll your sleeves up and do it yourself, but I think this would involve some serious coding/programming. The FS2004 SDK has a section about ATC which may help.John
