I would have been so easy to avoid the apparent trademark infringement. For example, if you Google "blue sky radio" with spaces, the most general possible search for a conflict, the first link that pops up is to SkyBlueRadio.com.Of course it's not up to me to decide whether it is in fact infringement, it's up to the SkyBlueRadio people, whose Dear Leader I've alerted.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI wish Jacob well in his new venture -- competition is always a Good Thing. However, he may want to think about opening under a radically different, properly researched name. He's just starting out, doing so should not be a big deal.

I used to be with Virtual Skies... I and the rest of the staff at Bluesky aren't trying any competion.. it doesn't hurt to have another radio station out there.. Check out Skyhigh Radio... who cares its just another radio station. Feel free to contact whoever you want at skyblue radio. I honestly don't care..

I think you misunderstood my point, Jacob. You're certainly free to compete and that's good -- the more stations the better for the FS community. As I said above, competition is a Good Thing, not a Bad Thing.My concern was only about a name conflict, not about competition. But the name issue is up to you and them (SkyBlue). If they don't care and you don't care then I don't care. I've alerted them, but what happens after that (if anything) is up to all of you. Mike,I understand where your coming from but just you have to understand that there are many names that sound a like.. Onesky,Bluesky,Realsky,Skyblue,Skyhigh etc they all sound alike doesn't mean you have to go and tell somebody else about it.. but thats your choice you do as your will. The management behind Bluesky before it formed had a long talk and decision before coming up with Bluesky Radio. Thanks for your wishes though and you have a great weekend as well.Cheers!Jacob

Hello Mike, yes it is an hour long talk show podcast based on aviation and flightsim, with occasional interviews from people in the community. Just give us a listen and tell us what you think. We are formatted off of what a morning show is, don't let the first segment steer you away because the meat and potatoes of the program is flightsim.At our current home at mypodcast you can subscribe with itunes which will update, or you can listen streaming high quality audio on the site or simply download the mp3! (highest quality)Our schedule is Monday - Friday with a podcast available by 9pm CST United States (unless my girlfriend tears me away from the pc for a night)

When I get the chance I'm going to listen first to a conversation with Eric Cantu, ace airframe designer.Jeff,When do you broadcast in the morning, and how can readers like me pick up the live feed?

Currently we have no live feed, plans are for it in the future, you will see at the top of the site the show grand opening because we reformatted and restaffed from our old team that brought you the likes of "Cantu Can" so thats why you will hear different people, but the host (me) is the same haha.We broadcast when I get home from work haha, which are weekday evenings so we can have it up by 9pm CST in the states. A morning show format in the evening hehe.Thanks!
