July 18, 200916 yr I recently discovered an unidentified module in my Fs2004 Menu. It is called Vistamare Core 2004.Let me explain what happened. After spending a few days organising my AI - Traffic I finally got round to doing a flight again. But immediately I realised I can no longer change my viewpoint from the outside spot view using the keyboard by pressing ctrl-shift-backspace and so forth. I checked out my view settings and key assignments and found everything the same as it use to be. But then I spotted a new module in my menu called Vistamare. I havent seen this ever before and cannot recall any point in time that I had installed it or approved the installation of it by any other add on.I had recently installed two add ons from UK2000, Gatwick & Stansted, The CLS A345 & A346 and also the Overland A380. Even though after I had installed those add ons this module has never appeared in my FS Menu. I have done a few test type flights after the installation of this and everything was working fine and I certainly did not have this module in my FS menu then. So where did it come from?I have checked out the website from Vistamare and it is supposedly an interface module used by certain add on software for FS. But what confuses me is why I cannot recall any prompts during installation of these add ons informing me of this module and even more why it has never appeared untill now.Im wondering if anyone out there has any idea of what this is, where it could have come from and also if it is the reason that my view commands is suddenly not working? I also don't know if I should just remove it from my modules folder or perhaps dig deeper?
July 19, 200916 yr It's for dynamic scenery. Do you use AES or any LAGO products?Well it im not entirely sure. I don't think so,my only add ons are from CLS, UK2000, FlyTampa, Aerosoft & Overland. But still why has this never shown itself untill now & how did it magically appear by itslef all of the sudden?
July 19, 200916 yr Hello, . But what confuses me is why I cannot recall any prompts during installation of these add ons informing me of this module and even more why it has never appeared untill now.Simple:Just check for the installation date of this module on your HD .. (in windows explorer arrange the files by date ... and you will find all the other files installed same day and hour if any)BTW methink it's maybe from a Aerosoft or Lago (like the F-16 for refueling) product install.Regards.Gus.
