Hey guys, :( i am looking for an accurate sound for the 737-700/800 series which is the PMDG model. so far, i have been unsuccessful with the search. I would also like to know how could i edit the thrust power on the PMDG 737 from the aicraft.cfg file.by the way, does anyone know where i could get PMDG 737 cabin interiors like (malev hungarian airlines cabin interior) because i downloaded it from avsim before it went downthx!!!!!!!!!

Some of the other users on this board have complained lately that the TSS 727 Sounds are not accurate. They have also complained that they are not getting support conducive of payware applications. That being said, you might want to do a bunch of research on any sound package that you have to pay for before leaping in there.By the way, I'm always looking out for a decent copy of OMAA for you. I'll let you know if I do ever find one :)Mark

Arjan Scheffel's freeware 737-800 (wspilots.com) contains a good sound set that you could alias to the PMDG.You can edit the thrust power in one of two ways in the aircraft.cfg file: either adjust this line in [turbineenginedata] -static_thrust=24200.000although doing this will make the plane over-or under-powered in relation to the rest of the FD, or alternatively vary this, in increments of 0.1 is recommended:[jet_engine]thrust_scalar=1.000Don't forget to back up the original file first.I've always found the PMDG FD to pretty good with thrust characteristics; what's the problem?;)

I would recommend either of these 3 packs, I use files from all 3 actually:- Des Braban- Christoffer Peterson V2- Emil Serafino's latest oneI don't know if they are available elsewhere so you might have to wait for the library to be back.

thanks alot guys for your help but i would also like to know how could i edit a sound from the sound file of aircraft. Lets say that i download a sound from youtube that was recorded by passenger when the plane was talking off. how could i make that sound work on my fs aircrafts? I know that u have to edit it on windows movie maker or other editing software but i don't know what to name the sound for it to work on fs. :( any suggestions??i just feel that the plane does not have enough power in the engines because i was just on a 737-700 and 800 in Europe and during takeoff, the acceleration was powerful and comparing it to the pmdg 737, its now where near the reality (thrust) to 737.hey, thanks for your reply!!!but i don't understand what is static thrust and thrust scalar :( thx!!
