A Question For Windows 64 bit Users?

Featured Replies

Can any 64 bit user tell me if they've successfully used the Flight1 (or other) Registry Repair Tool for FSX?I have an XP 64bit installation for which I wan't to ammend the FSX location registry entry, but can't get the F1 tool to correct it. Am I correct in thinking there will be two separate registries - one for 64bit application and one for x86? Or did I just make that up? It just sounds familiar.Reason:- I have a dual boot system and want to share the same FSX location. Win7 installation currently has full FSX & addons, so i've installed a copy of FSX on XP to a dummy location (so as to not overwrite any files) and want to 'kid it' that it's elsewhere.I hope that makes sense :(

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Works fine for me in Vista 64...have a new Computer with 1 TO hard disk where i installed a fresh copy of FSX and it also serves as installing the right entries in registry and my regular 640 go hard drive with all my FSX install ported over from my older machine.Alain from Montreal

Thanks AlainIt's very strange what's happening then. The F1 tool states that the job is done, yet when I lool at the registry, no 'Microsoft Games' entry is present where the says it is.Maybe i'll try another tool, i thing there's few.I may even try a manual entry :( :( :(
