Flying the Concorde Simulator

Featured Replies

Hello,It s to share with you a video of the work in progress at the Brooklands Museum's Concorde Simulator !More info here :http://www.brooklandsconcorde.com/news.htmlhttp://www.concordeproject.com/simulator.htmlIt uses SSTSIM Concorde (fs2004), phase 1 is finished (see the news of first link). Now, phase 2 ll add some new instruments like HSI, Incidence, VOR/RMI ...., with the electronics help of a team of French students(I m part of these) of ESIEA.There were only two Concorde Simulator, the BA one and the AF one; the one of this topic is BA.

AF sim is in France at Airbus Toulouse and a group of Aribus engineers is also re-commissioning, but for later. So this video show you the test of two HSI :

also this one, more old :
With MSFS, a mythic plane "refly" ....The simulator is open to public for Tours of 10-20 minutes; soon Privates Tours with a ex-Concorde Pilotll be avalaible (Contact the Museum for more infos).Enjoy

My God, I want it. Wish I were in the area and in good standing with a higher up over there :( I bought the Flight1/SSTSIM a while back and even chose this aircraft for a midterm project last semester in my flight dynamics class. By far my favorite airplane; sleek, manly, and smart.
